Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information stored in your browser. Similar browser technologies such as localStorage can remember settings.
2. Essential preference storage
This site stores your consent preference in localStorage under the key tdp_consent_v1. The preference remains valid for 180 days. This storage is necessary to respect your choice and does not require separate consent.
3. Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-4PJ2CPG2WX) is only loaded if you agree to analytics. It may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, with lifetime depending on service and browser settings. Purpose: website visits and interactions analytics. Legal basis: consent.
If you reject, the Google Analytics script does not load. You may change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent prevents subsequent loading and attempts to delete existing first-party Analytics cookies.
4. Other services
The map loads resources from OpenStreetMap and unpkg (Leaflet), which may receive IP addresses and technical request data. Fonts are hosted locally. These services are not used by this website for advertising profiling and are separate from Google Analytics.
5. Change your choice
. You can also delete the website's browser data; the banner will then appear again.
WhatsApp, Google, Instagram, Facebook, email and phone links
Buttons and links to WhatsApp / WhatsApp Web (including a pre-filled message), Google Maps / Google Business Profile, Instagram and Facebook are external links. They do not, on their own, set those platforms' cookies while you remain on this website. Cookies and other data processing on the destination services may occur when you choose to open them. The mailto: and tel: links invoke device functions and do not require cookie consent merely to be clicked.
Airbnb, Booking.com and “Surroundings and destinations” links
Links to Airbnb, Booking.com and to tourism information websites, museums, parks, routes and local operators in “Surroundings and destinations” are ordinary external links, not embedded content. As long as they remain simple links without loading third-party scripts or widgets, their mere presence does not require additional cookie consent. When a destination website is opened, its privacy and cookie rules apply. Any future booking widget, embedded map or tracking tool will require a further review.
Server logs and cookies
Normal HTTP requests generate technical logs at Aruba (for example IP addresses, request time, requested resources and possible errors). These are not cookies: they are generated by the server for service delivery, security and troubleshooting. Aruba states that these logs are kept for no longer than 6 months and are not transferred outside the European Union as part of its hosting service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
